Early in the final week of the WSOP Spring Circuit, professional Ramon Pessoa put Brazil in contention for another gold ring. On the Final Day of Event 15: 108 NL Hold’em Double Stack Bounty, he was eliminated in eighth place. In all, the owner of the account “Ramonnce” won $6,396.
Ramon confirmed his presence in the final with only 12 bbs. Looking for a reaction, he fell in the first pre-flop all-in he was involved in. Check it out:
In the 500,000/1,000,000 blinds with antes of 125,000, when he busted out with 10♥10♣, Ramon made an open shove of 5.2 million and watched “shark1900” go all-in on top. No one called, and the Hong Kong-based player revealed Q♦Q♥. The 4♦8♠K♦9♦K♥ edge confirmed “shark1900″‘s win and Ramon was left by the wayside.
By registering 6,703 entries, Event 15 surpassed the $500,000 guarantee. For the GGPoker victory, “Walla1234” earned $48,954 from the $670,300 prize pool.
